A couple weeks ago I left a beautiful yellow frisbee at the Mal'el Dunes (by the gun club). If you're the person who found it, I have a few things to say. Starting with: enjoy it, it's truly magical. . .
That frisbee, which I often referred to as "frizzle" or "frizzle dizzle (fo shizzle)" was much loved and put euphoric smiles on many people's faces (mostly my own). It traveled everywhere with me. It lived in my backpack as I traveled around the world because I knew there would always be a great opportunity for frisbee. That frisbee has been the source of many great experiences, now memories.
It was just what we needed coming down from mushrooms at a gas station in the middle of the Oregon desert. It inspired me to take off my pants and play frisbee. I now know the difference between clothed frisbee and nude frisbee, and I do recommend it in the nude. Ah, that free feeling...
Many joints were rolled in it, delicious meals were cooked/eaten out of it, at least 500 people have played with that thang, plus several slobbery dogs. On the beach, in the forest, at music festivals. . .it was pretty much the only thing I carried in my backpack that I didn't really "need", but I'm so glad I brought it along. It also led me to meet other funky fresh frisbee folks!
So if it's you who found it, let me know so that I know it's going on to a better place. I hope you were happy to find it. I love when you find something- especially when it's full of love and magic and most importantly, potential for fun!
I realize it's possible that the ocean tides took it too- hey, I think it floats, so maybe a bored fisherman will find it. Or perhaps it will get carried by the current to another beach. Or buried in the sand. . .Flowing with the waves...entertaining the sea creatures. There are endless possiblities for the path of this frisbee. May it keep on being awesome and creating happy memories and new friends.
Seriously, try naked frisbee!
Here's a picture I took the day I forgot that frisbee. I got stoned, ran on the beach, and left it sitting on a little dune down by the water.
