Gun Trade-In Program Encourages People to Shoot Each Other

By Mario Aguilar

During the month of November, the Winnepeg Police are conducting an innovative gun trade-in program. Fork over your illegal gun to the fuzz, and they’ll hook you up with a digital camera. Guns for consumer electronics. It’s the future—get used to it.

Here’s how Pixels for Pixels works:

Henry’s will provide citizens who turn over workable firearms for disposal a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH8 Digital point and shoot camera and a Henry’s School of Imaging gift card, a value of $240.00, for each workable firearm they turn in to Police.

Residents of Winnipeg who wish to surrender firearms must contact the WPS first at (204) 986-6222 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Firearms CAN NOT be brought into any Police Facility.

Firearms CAN NOT be exchanged at any Henry’s location.

A life of crime or an enlightening new hobby; The choice is yours. [Henry’s via PetaPixel]
